Tourette’s is a neurodevelopmental disorder that causes children to make involuntary sounds or movements called tics. As the child gets older, it can improve or even disappear completely.
At Open Doors Therapy we can talk about the 13 year old girl with Tourette’s and other difficulties including anxiety, panic attacks, sleep problems, OCD and learning problems for whom the therapy was ‘life changing’.
Detached from social relations with a restricted range of expressions.
